- Owen Taunts Rooney about Hair Loss
- Rooney Reveals Hair Transplants
Wayne Rooney has taken a vital step to restoring his self-confidence after having hair transplants done. Just a few weeks ago the Manchester United forward was being taunted by his teammate Michael Owen about his receding hair line.

The England international went on to reveal that it was a "sensitive subject" after Owen had tweeted "By the way @WayneRooney, how old are you in that photo? Your face looks like a 12 year olds but your hair looks like a 60 year old!"
With Rooney's hairline having drastically moved back over the course of the season, the striker chose to book in at the Queen Anne Street Medical Centre in London after the close of the season.
At first he didn't release any pictures due to his head being a little bruised and swollen, but told his Twitter followers that he was "delighted with the result".
He then went on to release a photo on yfrog.com which showed his now improved hairline after the delicate Hair surgery, which cost him around £30 000.

He left a message alongside the picture which read: "Hi all, there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody but that's all normal."
Many people online have congratulated Rooney on having the procedure done and applauded him for the way he dealt with the issue publicly.
This just shows that more and more people are more open to procedures to prevent Hair loss and with the proven benefits both physically and emotionally, it is easy to understand why.
Losing your precious mane can heavily affect your confidence and appearance, but at institutes such as Med Hair, you can quickly take control of the situation with hair transplants!
